About
MacScene is a program designed for the creation of high quality molecular images. MacScene reads in PDB atomic coordinate files and outputs scene files for the freeware POV renderer. Currently, MacScene includes the following features:

Coloring Options: CPK colors Temperature factor Residue type Rainbow (residue number) Single color Structure
Other options: Transparency control Ambient light control One or two auto placed lights in several locations real-time wire stick preview of molecule for camera placement Visibility control based on either distance factor or record type
