To do its work. the XENIX Operating Sy.em must be installed on your compIler'S hard disk. Thisallowsthesystemtotakecontrolofyourcomputerwheneveryouturnit on. The instanation procedure consists of initializing your hard disk. then copying the XENIX system programs from the XENIX distribution floppydisks to the initializcd hard disk.
