I heard anti war people all have sex with farm animals and cannot have children without birth defects. Also, they cut off the tongues of war-mongerers, hang them upside-down in the public market and bleed them to death.

Really, be careful about what you hear at those poetry readings. I hear most poets are a bunch of hot-headed ex-marines just looking for a reason to rip off the heads of those commie-lib pansy-a$$ peaceniks and poop down their throats.

I just thought it was funny... I mean, you have these anti war people shouting about peace, yet when someone DISAGREES with them, they resort to violence. Pffft.

Ca$h has a point, in Holland, the cowardly country I happen to reside in, politics have been a big mess after a politician was shot last year.

People who threw a pie to this murdered politician were facing court. Throwing a pie equalled throwing a bomb, according to outraged fans of the dead politician.

Holland can be a really wicked country, you must have heard about the tulip-crazyness, now we have to endure Fortuyn-related crazyness.

I've noticed that on some of the local college campuses the students who have refused to protest the war have been taunted and kept from participating in public discussions (physically in some cases). In particular, there was one student group who organized a "support the troops" discussion and the anti-war types showed up (from other schools, too) to protest the discussion. This made one campus newspaper, but I think most of them are refusing to report this kind of stuff (from the ones I've seen, at least).

I've often found that the greatest enemy of free speech is those who have something to lose from its exercise.

I think "egging" is a good idea -- that way, some of the more unstable protesters will end up with arrest records. Cool.
