WaveLAN Silver Turbo and Powerbook 5300c

I am considering the purchase of a low cost second hand sampler. I read about a program for the AKAI samplers (I am watching a sx3000 for 80 euros), that is called MESA that allows edition and samples transfers via SCSI to the gear.

Anyone tried it?

Hey.  After a lot of finessing, I finally found pre-Orinoco WaveLAN drivers that are compatible with OS 8.5 and that install properly with 16 mb of memory (Orinoco 6.3.1 requires 8.5.1 and 32 mb of memory).  For the moment my upper limit looks to be 24 mb because of the unfortunate architecture of the 5300 series (maybe not for the time but in terms of interchangeability with modern components now).

Okay, preface over.  WaveLAN's installer works.  The 5300 recognizes the insertion of the WaveLAN Turbo Silver card.  When I open 'PC Card Setup' the computer crashes.  That's as far as I had time to debug it.  Any thoughts at all?
