Dock Stripes

Dock Stripes Development 9 posts Dec 24, 2002 — Apr 10, 2003
I know everybody wanted to get rid of em in 10.0-10.1, but I'm actually looking for a way to put the stripes back in the 10.2 Dock. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Ricky
Couldn't you just replace the current background in the Dock (Dock.app/Contents/Resources) with the old striped background?

I think it is....if not, then use my dock skin AquaButton skins

Ah, alright.. I was just trying to offer a helpful guess
Make a stripe skin and use i with "Skin a Dock".
Sorry to revive this old thread but has anybody found a way to do this with Jaguar yet? (short of using SkinADock)

I actually did a quick browse of the available SkinADock skins and didn't see an Aqua pinstripes one available. Although this could just be because most people didn't like it originally.

Maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but lately I've developed a renewed appreciation for the standard Aqua UI (even though I've tweaked my resources so the traditional aqua blue controls are now a crimson red)... it really is beautiful; much better than anything offered by default with other OSes.
