All of the sudden the domain expired. This JUST happened to me. It was working fine, did a search, wasn't loading, came back, IT'S A DAMN SQUATTER.

Yeah, their Domain Name was down for a little bit. (half a day or so.)

Theres a lot of stuff I can only find on there which they aren't allowing downloads on due to the "cost of bandwidth", if the software is really abandonware then the site owners should just create torrent files and distribute that way.

I have always wondered about that site. Most of it is old enough to abandonware, albeit some of the stuff i see might be on the borderline, while some of the stuff is still copyrighted/warez, like all the non-free OS stuff posted.

I was involved in Macintosh Garden early on. They've moved into questionable territory now by linking to torrent files of non-abandonware software.

I'd be worried they'll get shut down. It used to be just abandonware, and now it's turning more into a Mac warez torrent site.

i guess the best thing to do now is archive/mirror everything you do see, because i seriously doubt its going to be up long.
