Change mouse pointer OS 9
Is there a way to change the mouse pointer in OS 9?
ResEdit/Super ResEdit can do it if you go in to the ICON section of the system.
There was a System6/7 extension/control panel called "Lefty" that switched the pointer from a right handed one to a left handed one. And another, who's name I forgot that made the Mac's black pointer into a White Windows pointer.

If you look on some of the ResEdit file archives, you can find entire files of CURS resources.
Yeah I was hopeing there was an easeir way. Also I think there is a bit of danger to messing your system up when chaning the assets in the system folder.
I used to change resources on System 6 - 8 all the time. Of course, I always back up the system first before making changes, but going in and knowing what to remove can shrink a large System to a small one.
I am using some custom cursers that I got from resexcellence before they shut down/changed everything. They are very simple to use, just a system extension into the System Folder, no problems with Mac OS 9.2.2 here ...
The files are called 08-12_MacOS8-9-cursors.sit , cursor_dicker.sit or cursors-07-02.sit but seem to be gone from the net completely?
A few more can be found at http://www.pure-mac.com/faceliftclassic.html

Thanks for the link, that's the kind of thing I was looking for.
Ooo, fun. Gonna check those out.
I found some other pointer enhancers, while I was searching for System 6 Sticky Keys. Some are in Pure Mac; some are not: Change Arrow 1.2, Color Arrow, CursorFixer 1.0, Fat Cursors 1.2.1
