Simply downloading DTools75.zip from the MacGeek Downloads page did the trick.

This lets you create a system disk that boots the Classic with a minimal 7.5 system.

That enables to mount the Cubase2.5.1r3.img automounting file on the desktop (just as Luddite and Leosadvs told) and the program boots flawless.
