Flash versions have been growing like crazy lately. It seems that the modified Flash version which gave PowerPC users some respite is now too old for certain sites. I've updated the Flash plugin to report itself as version 16.1.102.64. This, I hope, should last a few months.

Flash is pretty insecure. I'm not sure whether there are workable exploits, but to be on the safe side, I highly recommend ClickToPlugin, which keeps all plugins from loading until you click on the item on a web page which is requiring that plugin. It has a nice side effect of making most YouTube videos play as HTML5, which means you can download by right clicking. Heck, I recommend ClickToPlugin for ALL Macs. It'll save battery life, too, on laptops.

Install the Flash plugin by dragging "Flash Player.plugin" into /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/. I've tested this with YouTube and Hulu. Enjoy!
