I got this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H3CRJNY) IDE > SD adapter.  It recognizes through USB on Windows 7.  It doesn't read at all from the 8.5 Install CD (which I tried to format it from).  Is this just gonna just be a basic incompatibility?
