Would anybody happen to have info on this?> CDPC XL MAC, also due in December, incorporates a Sony CD-ROM drive that provides an average access time of 280 milliseconds and transfer rates of 300 Kbytes per second for nonaudio data and 150 Kbytes for audio data. In addition, a Pro AudioSpectrum card, a pair of speakers and a low-watt amplifier are built-in.
The device is connected to the Mac via SCSI; it also can be used with IBM PCs and compatibles equipped with SCSI adapters. A version for NuBus Macs costs $1,595; a Mac LC version is $1,495.
