Have you tried connecting it to one of your other macs in firewire target disk mode (hold down T on startup)? You should then be able to run the 9.01 installer and the 9.2.2 update from your other mac and choose the mounted TiBook's drive as destination.

Yep.. it'll install the wrong version to the target machine... that's why I'm experiencing a rather unstable machine... At present the machine works, boots up fine and on the odd occasion it'll stall and bomb out!!

So, since I can't seem to find a source to buy the correct OS (Mac OS 9.2.2 minimum), I though I should create one with the source files I have, that said doesn't mean it'll be 100% right... but it's the only choice I have right now unless some kind soul here tells me otherwise.
