I guess this is a few days stale, but none-the-less...
Do you have the restore DVDs for a newer PowerPC Mac? Doesn't really matter which, just as long as its same age or newer. Hidden on the restore DVD (the second one if there's two) is a disk image that contains a copy of 9.2.2 to enable "Classic" support. If you put your Ti into Fireware target disk mode and copy the System file from that image over to it it should work. (I used to have an 867 Mhz Ti and it booted fine off a "Classic" folder on the few occasions I booted into Classic.) Of course, if you have a newer PPC Mac with Classic support on it you can get the same results by just dragging over its Classic system folder.
The only thing I remember not working was the "ATI Graphics Acceleration" extension. There may be a newer ATI driver that works on a Ti, but I never cared.
Of course, the other obvious thing to note is if you have a working newer PPC Mac you could just use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy over a working OS X install and be done with it.
