Yep bad flyback. I replaced the one on mine many moons ago. I wrote up a post about it, however it was lost in one of the forum crashes.

I bought replacement flyback on ebay and IIRC it was about $20 plus shipping.

If you do a search you may be able to find some of my posts about it. The question is how comfortable are you doing component level repair on a CRT? If the answer is not very, I suggest just replacing the monitor.
