NewerTech MAXpowr Pro G3/266 DIP switches? Troubleshooting 4 posts Jun 4, 2008 — Jun 4, 2008
I recently got an 8500 with one of these, and it seems to show up as 200 mhz under 7.6. I need to figure out what the DIP switches are then. Does anyone know?

Its an ASP bug under 7.6. Gauge Pro shows it correctly as 266 MHz.

If you are using the fixed-CPU daughter card, the Kansas logic board needs switches 1 and 4 set to ON. Other 8600/9600, and all 8500/9500, 7300, 7500 and 7600 have all four DIP switches set to OFF.

Got it. Mine oddly was set to the former configuration, but worked just fine. I changed it to the recommended though, which works great.
