So, once again my latest conquest has a problem. The drive won't read anything. No activity light if I put in a CD. If I try to mount a disc in it with SCSIProbe it just makes a single "naaah" click.

I've tried to open up the drive but haven't gotten very far. Took off the bottom plate, removed the front bezel and can't get any further.Trying this on the offchance that it's just dusty and needs a good cleaning out.

Any tips?
