But the link for the: Apple's NIC drivers v1.4.4 is DEAD, and I cant seem to find it anywhere on the internet.

What I am trying to do is to run a PCMCIA Ethernet card on my old powerbook 5300cs. But there are no mac drivers, but it looks pretty generic so I thought it might work.
Not sure if it helps, though. From the accompanying README file:

In addition, this Installer installs the following related products:
