I usually find that the newer version is a let down.

Computers used to have a certain charm about them, that has been missing for about 15 years now. For me anyway!

I just keep using the old stuff, like Sim City 2000, the original Maelstrom, Lunatic Fringe on After Dark, F/A-18 Hornet 2.0, Wolfenstein 3D, etc. Probably not what you were looking for, but I've got to be honest!
