I figured that, since disk utility scans the SCSI bus. Now, if I import a blank disk image that is already formatted for copland I can install to it. The only problem is that the copland disk image i have isn't large enough to perform an install. If someone could give me a blank formatted image for copland, I would appreciate it.

And if anyone is reading this that lives at the jersey shore, now is a great time to throw away some old mac systems (preferably 2 powermac 9500s with monitor, keyboard and mice).
