You used to be able to play YouTube on the VERY last build of Flash 7 for OS 9. Without hacks. I think it was "r73," released around 2005, or something. You have to hunt around for it, as it wasn't well known. I posted this info on the LEM OS 9 list about a year or two ago. I never tried it in Classilla, but it worked in WamCom.

It plays like TOTAL crap on a G3 though. The video is, at MOST, 5 fps, but the audio is okay. I've been told a G4 is only marginally better. It was serviceable for things like listening to music and audio commentary, but you can pretty much forget watching YouTube *video* in OS 9 in its native format.

A online converter is probably the way to go.

Somebody, possibly Cameron, suggested it might be possible to port Gnash to OS 9.

Since that link was posted: I should point out there is a program called icWord that will open docx in OS 9. But the online converter will work too.
