1. Technically, yes. At the moment, no.
2. I pretty sure I'm using classic networking. All I do on the Powerbook side is activate AppleTalk, switch to EtherTalk, and turn on file sharring. Once that's done, the iMac sees the PB through the Network Broswer and can mount its hard drive on the desktop.
