I was connected to AOL with a duo back in '03 with AOL 4.0. That is the max supported on 68k. You aren't too limited once you gain connection you can use a newer browser, icab or whatever that uses AOL's connection. That was 7 years ago..maybe it still works. Try AOL canada 4.0 for mac too if US gives problems. You just have to manually add the american number.
