I know this is an incredibly ignorant question, but would the same barriers that prevent building a "native" Firefox 5 on older versions of OS X apply to building an X11 version of it? (IE, just pretending that "Tiger" is a vanilla BSD variant and taking that route.) Obviously that would be a suboptimal solution to the problem but I'm curious if it would be "possible".
