Yep, thought of that, but I was thinking more along the lines of getting it to work within the Mac OS. Not sure if it'll just use it if it's there or what.

TattleTech lists the presence of cache in its reports, so the OS checks for it on startup, if my read on the workings of TattleTech is anywhere in the general vicinity of how it works. I'm assuming it runs the equivalent of the POST check/whatchamacallit.
