FPGAs are incredibly fascinating to me, but I'll freely admit I'm far too stupid to work with one. My eyes are starting to glaze over a little bit just trying to draw a decent schematic for an idea for a clip-on MMU/memory expansion add-on for a Commodore PET, and that would only require about eight chips.
