The drive is dead. But you can use the case to take the drive out and put another one in there.
It doesn't look like anyone's that interested in refurbishing it, so I thought I'd take a whack at it myself. 50-Pin SCSI drives are kinda rare (and failure prone thanks to age) so I figure I'll get a 50-Pin converter for a modern enterprise SCSI interface (like SCA 80-Pin), and find a way to stuff it in the enclosure!

I opened up the enclosure and ran into some weird connections. Looks like they come from a 6p5c connector that goes right into the SCSI interface, and plug into the IDE, but what is it for??? There's two little labels near two of the pin headers, which say "LED", which appears to be a green wire, and "RED" which appears to be a red wire. I'm guessing it's for the activity light on the dock?

I also looked at a PATA Quantum drive for reference, to see if there were any similar plugs... and there was! But, only one of them: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vv5wyx5d6g6s2yc/IMG_20150726_123108691.jpg
