I'm not sure how the PCI adapters help - wanna run that by us? Are you just using them as a straight pin-pin extension of the 601 PDS?

Not tears yet, gotta do the research before jumping off burned bridges. It may be something as simple as a clean ground line. That could explain the erratic/non performance issues documented on that hack page.
