This whole thing really tickles my geek bone.
I sat down today to check out the source tree for NetBSD. Turns out quite a bit has changed since the old days. But i managed to crosscompile a custom kernel which compresses to about 1 mb. Now i'm looking at tricks to shave a few more kb from the kernel.
So, what would a minimal system 7 floppy cost me in terms of size? I really just need it to get starting and run the bootloader. I don't need fonts, drivers, symbols or anything at all.
