I don't have any real need for anything but ubuntu, ATM. The re-mix has been running flawlessly on HP-Mini since my run-in with inadequate restore utilities for the WinHome3/whatever that died a fittingly miserable, agonizing death. It would have required a trip to HP to re-install it. For the ten days while I dealt with HP''s TechTards, I was booting off an ubuntu Desktop CD and running live sessions as the only way I could boot my NetBook,

Finally, I made a call to a fellow church member and a one of the TechnoKids dropped off a 4GB thumb drive/re-mix installer to me at work within 3 or 4 hours!

That was three years ago this summer! :approve:

Needless to say, Windows has been perma-banned from my HDDs, with the single excepttion of HP_Maxi. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the AMD version of ubuntu onto that one yet, but I'll do so when I can double the disk space.

For an 8GB SSD, I'm just going to stick with the devil I know. Triple boot will happen when I can afford the time to mess with it, a nice, spacious SATA HDD and a Feline Retai Box! [] ]'>
