Thanks all, that's makes sense. I thought of this but was too tired to get the CRT i have in garage to try that out. OK, i need to do that then Oddly it *once* booted with correct colors (without extentions). By adding the driver, it doesn't come to the desktop at all.

Need to continue testing. Need to bring the Quadra home where it was slotted before and see if that works for him better.
