If your card has the exact same chip as what Apple used on the FW800 MDDs, then there is a chance it might work. But at the same time - there may be something else they have done that may prevent it from working. Really, I'd either just stick to using the PCI card, or if you absolutely need that PCI slot, get a FW800 mobo.
