I've seen the compatible Canon cartridges almost everywhere online. I've used a few third-party cartridges with older, out-of-warranty printers that I don't consider primary production machines and have had no problems whatsoever.

On a somewhat related note, has anyone had success re-inking four-color ImageWriter II ribbons?
