Where are you finding these $20 SCSI drives? On eBay they are typically between $50-$100. No way I'd spend that kind of money on something that doesn't have much usable life left. Adapting modern storage technologies to work on older interfaces makes much more sense, in my opinion.

In my case, it was a local place called 3R Technologies. They sometimes sell on eBay and had a couple 250's going for $50 on their eBay store. The 230 was in their display case. That said, I'd like to see something modern adapted to older computers, that way, if I want a nearly silent SE/30, I can have one.
