oh man the Flux… I know what you are saying, Why? Because flux is already in the solder right?

Especially when you get into rework, the flux just makes the solder flow and ball up like liquid mercury,

also it can help you if you are trying to get your way out of an accidental solder bridge.

It just makes your life easier.
