Question for Uniserver:

Further up this thread you talk about twisting capacitors off with pliers. I don't know if this was covered elsewhere, but I am curious about this, so could you explain that? How much twist and how often — is the point to rip the things off or to break the wire legs, or what? Does it lift traces from time to time?
