I'll hit my local surplus today and see what they have in terms of regular resistors.
I got my other 15K RPM SCSI drive, but it makes a weird noise after it spins up. Almost like a fart. It was funny at first, but now it's just damn annoying when I fire up my G4.
I think I'm going to just pay a few extra bucks and get a couple 68pin 15K RPM drive. They're $25 instead of $6, but it may be the price to pay to avoid headaches. Plus, I could use one in my vintage Mac just for kicks. Probably Fujitsu since that was the one I had before and it was whisper quiet. I don't think these adapters work too well, and I don't think the SCSI drives can detect what kind of HDD is on the chain (which screws up termination.)
