That is one tightly spaced pizza box!
It's Awesome!
So my idea is to do the same hack, but with a Q605/LC475 LB, in a LC-II bottom, LC-1 top, and use a ZIP 100 drive where the hd would normally be.
Will be able to install a LC NIC Card, and the FULL 040 will be running at 33mhz , maybe 40 or 42 mhz depending
on how ambitious i get
basically my new low power bridge mac, File Server, everything machine. /w a 320meg Quantum 2.5" hd
(mounted some where else in the pizza box)
I already ordered the 2.5 to 3.5 scsi cable adaptor, I need to find a molex splitter
Need to power both HD and Zip Drive.
I was going to call mine something too: I was considering:
FrankenLC605™
TheLCBeastDD475™
BeastlyDoubleD605™
BigDD'sLC605™
Specs:
Full 040, 33/40/42mhz
128 megs of ram
230meg HD
100meg SCSI Zip
Sony 2mb Auto Inject
1mb vram 2x 512k's
LCPDS Apple AAUI NIC CARD
