I'm not an electrical engineer, but I don't see why not if they meet the requirements.

Plus, they're ceramic and look nifty. If they do work, I'd be tempted to buy a few to to recap my IIci so match my white HDD.

Not to mention that you could probably dye those suckers and make some cool colored caps.
