The Apple HiColor 15" LCD Monitor Patent Pending

This is a project to turn a Gateway FPD15-40 LCD into an Apple-esque ADB capable VGA monitor.
I'm using the base from an Apple Multiscan 17" CRT that houses ADB and Speaker/Mic extenders.
The first thing I did was open up the base and remove enough ribbing, to fit the metal base of the LCD in smoothly. I then dremel'd out a hole in the bottom for screw access to the LCD's neck
The metal base was glued in place.
Then I cut up the top portion of the base and used PVC cement to hold the base lid and rotating section together. After that I measured and dremeled out a hole to slide the neck of the LCD through.
Once that was done, I laid out the wires and pcb back in their original locations and closed it up. Mounted the monitor to make sure it is how I want it, and now I am going to enjoy it in this form for a little bit until I get some off-white paint and primer to finish the job.
It looks silly but it will be way better painted. Also, I like the monitor tilt curve in the base from the CRT slider. I was going to fill it in, but it works good as a headphones/ipod/whatever tray. This is coming together better than I imagined.
Also: Anyone good at making water decals? I can photoshop good, but I don't know the first thing about making the decals (also only have a B&W laser printer)
