To toss in my two cents...I use an LC III because of its small size and low power consumption. If you're not leaving it on 24/7, or just aren't too worried about electricity usage, then this isn't too big of a deal. (This is assuming you've got/are willing to get an ethernet card to use in it.) The Centris 650 will certainly do the job just fine too, of course. As you can see from Apple's LocalTalk Bridge page, it doesn't exactly have very demanding system requirements.
