Compared to physical media, networking is like eating warm, properly cooked, home made cookies with milk. Floppy disks are like eating old British Navy "hard tack" "food". It can be done but the difference is polarizing.
But to answer your question, the .sea archive is not ruined. Merely, the type and creator data is lost. Use ResEdit in System 7+ or Finder Info 1.1.1 in System 4.1+ to change the type to "APPL" and the creator to "aust". Stuffit archives don't have resource forks, or not enough to make them damaged by foreign file systems.
LOL! What a line, and I am compelled.

Unfortunately I don't think Win7 is going to be happy with that configuration and the network card is the Presto Plus Accelerator that needs the drivers installed in the first place.

Regarding ResEdit - brilliant idea, will report back and thank you!
