That, but I hit a huge brick wall, considering the code was actually GPLed/someone elses so I didnt understand its operation well enough to figure out how to fix it. Then i just gave up. It turned out to be one of those projects that I invested alot of time and money on, with a bad outcome. The code was actually ONLY SCSI-3 compliant, and barely. So SCSI-1 and 2 never even saw it or attempted to see it. my SCSI-3 PCI card saw the drive just fine but never worked right.
