Guest Lister 12 Hc

Guest Lister is the fastest, most efficient way to find out about all those shared volumes of useful stuff out there on your AppleTalk network with GUEST access. It's a HyperCard stack and uses some of the Rinaldi externals. Requires HyperCard 2 or later, the player is fine. When launched, it builds a zone list. Click a zone and it builds a list of servers with guest access enabled, then it builds a list of all volumes on those guest access servers. A single click on a volume in the list will mount that volume (very quickly). For determined surfers there is a Report feature that can (if you really want) write a text file containing a list of all files on all guest access servers in a given zone. You can also choose to just get a folder list, or just to go 1 level deep. (That's enough to get an idea of what's out there). You may also want to get hold of "AppleShare Control" which lets you turn off those pesky server welcome dialogs that some people enable. It's in comm/atlk/ on Info-Mac.
