UK keyboards have the traditional backspace symbol on the "delete" key (an arrow facing left), plus they have a proper delete key above the arrow keys. Actually, the UK keyboard have symbols on a lot of keys that have text on US keyboards - pretty much all non letter/number keys have symbols rather than text.
