It's something I was daydreaming about, but I'm not sure if it's really practical. There are a few Unix/Linux options for 68030 Macs, but apparently none of them work with 68000 since it lacks an MMU. Instead of trying to load a new OS from disk, I was thinking about replacing the entire Mac Plus ROM with a modified version of the one I made for that 68 Katy project. It wouldn't be able to run Mac programs then, but it would boot directly into Linux.

Probably just a pipe dream, but it's fun to think about...
