About ClickCopy X ClickCopy X is a Finder contextual menu plugin designed for Mac OS® X that enables the user to copy files, make aliases, and move files easily. Normally under the Finder, if you want to copy a file from one folder to another, you need to have both folder windows open and drag-and-drop the file from the source folder to the destination folder. Even with Mac OS X's built-in method, the Copy and Paste commands in Finder's contextual menu only provide limited options. With ClickCopy X installed in your system, you can copy the file from the source folder and paste the file anywhere without the source folder being open. Once a file is copied with ClickCopy X's contextual menu, you can paste, make alias, or move the file to a different location. In addition to paste, make alias, or move the group of files, you can work with individual or selected files. ClickCopy X provides its own internal buffer for the copied file objects, it can also get the file objects from the Finder's Clipboard. ClickCopy X can be configured with custom menu item text to support your favorite menu item names and languages, and you can elect to enable selected menu items. The copy and paste commands in the context menus have been available for Microsoft® Windows® systems for quite a while, and DragonOne created the original ClickCopy for Mac OS 9 to provide the similar functionality for Mac users. With ClickCopy X for Mac OS X, DragonOne has done it again to extend the support of this important file operation feature to all Mac OS X users. ClickCopy X is very simple to use, you access its functionalities just like any other commands in Finder's contextual menu. To access ClickCopy X's menu commands, simply control + click (or right click with a two-button mouse) on the Finder to bring up Finder's contextual menu. The “ClickCopy X” sub menu will be listed under Finder's built-in menu items. System requirements ClickCopy X 1.0 requires a Macintosh with a PowerPC G3, G4, G5, or Intel Core processor, at least 10MB of RAM, 3MB of hard disk space, Mac OS X version 10.3 or later, including 10.5 Leopard.
