Preparing the SmartMedia reader / writer and memory cards Before using this software, set up your computer so that use of the SmartMedia reader/writer is enabled. * For details on connecting your SmartMedia reader / writer and computer, refer to the manual for your SmartMedia reader / writer or to the manual for your computer. Only memory cards (SmartMedia) formatted on the BR-532 can be used. If a memory card has been used by some other system such as MacOS, you must first initialize it on the BR-532. 3.
