Bernard of Hollywood's Marilyn by Corel
====================================
Congratulations on your purchase of this product in the Corel CD
Home series.
This text addresses a few technical issues you should be aware of:
If you experience problems in the playback of the videos in the
Marilyn title, you may be running the program using a single-speed
CD-ROM drive. We recommend using a double-speed CD-ROM drive for
this title, as any video output this size will be sluggish using a
single-speed drive.
If you find the overall performance of the program slow, you can
improve its playback by disabling virtual memory in your control
panels.
If you experience a lack of sound when playing the journal entries,
you may have more than one SCSI manager installed on your system.
Please ensure that only one company's SCSI management extensions are
included in your system folder.
Using the Corel ArtView Screen Saver
==================================
Congratulations on your purchase of this Corel CD Home Series title.
The following text explains how to install the Corel Artview! screen
saver onto your Macintosh.
Installation
-----------
The Mac Artview folder contains the Corel Artview! screen saver
program as well as a pre-defined preferences file added for your
convenience. In order to install the screen saver, simply drag the
Corel Artview! icon to your 'System Folder:Startup Items' folder. To
pre-configure the screen saver, drag the Corel Artview! Preferences
icon to your 'System Folder:Preferences' folder. Your screen saver
will now be active when your Macintosh restarts.
Preferences
-----------
Using the preferences file you copied to your hard drive, the screen
saver will access the Bernard of Hollywood's Marilyn CD ROM when
activated and display a variety of images of Marilyn. These images
will be shown for three seconds each. The screen saver will activate
after the system has been idle for five minutes.
Sleep and Wake Corners
---------------------
The lower-left corner of your screen will be used as a sleep corner,
allowing you to activate the screen saver before the specified time
limit.
The lower-right corner of your screen will be used as a wake corner,
preventing the screen saver from being activated at the specified
time limit.
Custom Preferences
------------------
You can modify the preferences any time you like by going to the
Options menu and selecting Set Preferences. Here you can modify the
sleep time as well as disable the sleep and wake corners. You can
also select Configure from the Options menu to modify the minimum
image size viewed, view time, and the default folder that Artview
will search for images. (The Artview screen saver can display Kodak
PhotoCD and PICT images.)
