READ ME FIRST! DIGITART CLIP ART ON DISKETTE MACINTOSH VERSION DigitArt™Clip Art is now supplied on diskette in DiskDoublercompressedformat. Before the clip art files can be used in a graphicsor page layout application, they must be decompressedusing the DDExpandutility. Pleaseread the document called "GettingStarted with DigitArt"on the DigitArtInstall diskette for instructions on how to use the DDExpandutility to decompressthe clip art files. The DDExpandutility can be found on the DigitArtInstall diskette. DigitArt™ Clip Art on Diskette All DigitArt clip art is saved as Adobe Illustrator® 1.1 format Encapsulated Postscript (EPS). It can be placed into any Macintosh application that accepts EPS graphics files. DigitArt can also be edited or modified in Postscript drawing programs including Adobe Illustrator®, Aldus FreeHand® & Deneba Canvas™. Using DigitArt with each of these programs is described in greater detail later on in this document. Volumes 1, 2 & 8 of DigitArt™ are also supplied in PICT format for use in MacDraw™, MacDraw Pro TMor other QuickDraw based drawing programs. DigitArt clip art is compressed with DiskDoubler™. Before you can use the clip art files, you must decompress them using the DDExpand™ utility included on this diskette. Please follow the instructions in the "Getting Started with DigitArtT"" section before going any further. Thank you for purchasing Image Club DigitArt clip art and enjoy. Getting Started with DigitArt™ 1) Make a backup of all DigitArt™ diskettes including this install diskette before starting. Do not use the original diskettes when using or decompressing the DigitArt™ clip art files. 2) Copy the DDExpand™ utility from the "DigitArtT" Utilities" folder on this diskette to your hard drive. DDExpand requires that you are using version 6.0.4 or later of Macintosh system software. 3} Copy the files or folders of clip art that you wish to use from the DigitArt™ diskettes to your hard drive. It is not necessary to copy all of the files and folders from a particular volume of DigitArt™ in order to use the files. You may copy only the files or folders that you need right now. Other files may be copied and decompressed at a later date. Do not decompress the clip art files on the diskettes.
