Macintosh Easy Open Developer Kit

Dear Apple Developer, Enclosed is an updated version of the software that came with your Macintosh® Easy Open Developer's Kit. Version 1.02 of Macintosh Easy Open incorporates the following software fixes: • Occasionally, Mac Easy Open would rebuild the Desktop on a RAM disk when you restarted your system. This won't happen with Version 1.02 • Mac Easy Open Document Converters would only highlight if a document's format matched the document converter's pre-set format. In Version 1.02, the document converter will highlight when either the document's format or OSType match. • Occasionally, Mac Easy Open wouldn't recognize Macintosh applications stored on external or non- boot volumes. Version 1.02 now recognizes applications stored on all local and remote volumes connected to your Macintosh. • Scrap translation via Mac Easy Open is now more reliable and robust. • Mac Easy Open now fully supports the Japanese version of System 7.1. Please refer to the "Read Me!" document included on the Macintosh Easy Open program diskette for important information regarding the Mac Easy Open Reference document and some last minute compatibility notes.
